A detailed color theory course that supports artists in learning color methodology and applying and appropriating aspects of most interest into one's own painting pursuits. Instruction includes painting and color warm ups, demos, lecture, critique and encouragement to successfully translate color theory into practice in one's own work. An excellent way to gain technical and experiential confidence with oil paint, building palettes and developing a body of work.

Supply List: Paint colors (with suggested brand): Cadmium Red (Holbein),Alizarin Crimson (Williamsburg), Magenta (any brand), Cadmium Yellow Light (Holbein), Cadmium Lemon (Williamsburg), Hansa Yellow (M. Graham), Ultramarine Blue (M. Graham), Cobalt Blue (Holbein), Manganese Blue (Sennelier), Intense Black (Old Holland) and Radiant White (Gamblin). Rags, Brushes, Range of Mediums, Palette (Paper or Glass), Solvent/Mediums, Jars, 280 Gram Rives BFK, Fluid Matte Medium (Liquitex).
