A solo exhibition to energize the soul in the heart of winter: "Faces on Fire" features new work by Chicago artist Larry Cutler, who's imagination knows no bounds. Cutler is literally fired up with his new series of faces. glowing with the energy of endurance and perseverance.
Curated by Rebecca George and including an artist's talk with Larry Cutler and Guest Art Historian Ginny Voedisch, this exclusive event will be an engaging and inspiring show.
"The faces that comprise Larry Cutler’s work demand attention. Exaggerated, enervated, comical and tragic, they are impossible to ignore. In a constant stream of output, Larry tirelessly records these faces in tensile line and feverish color, joining a long line of artists in plumbing the mysteries of the human psyche."
